What is the minimum age for having Laser Hair Removal Treatment?
In general, the minimum age is 14 years but we recommend at least 16 years & above.
Does laser treatment makes my skin dark?
No, it has nothing to deal with it.
Are there any precautions need to be taken before the treatment?
Only 4 things to care about. Those are-
- The area to be treated must be clean-shaven prior to treatment.
- Avoid usage of lotion, deodorant, or any cosmetic products 2 days prior to treatment.
- Clients must stop waxing, threading, or tweezing 3 weeks before treatment.
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure for at least 3 days prior to your treatment.
Is Laser Treatment works on Light (grey/white ) hair?
It is sad to say that laser is not effective on white or grey hair.
How long will it take to complete the session?
We take actions regarding the hair type, skin type, and depending on the test before treatment. Also, there is no fixed rule regarding the session. As the report will lead us to take our steps.
However, in general, for the face, bikini underarms, knees, chest need 8 to 12 sessions, 6 to 10 sessions, and 12 to 15 sessions respectively but still, it varies from person to person depending upon the skin type, hair type, and various other factors.
My skin is sensitive. Can I opt for laser treatment for my permanent hair removal?
Of course, you can. Emerge has solutions for sensitive, dry, normal, oil all types of skin.
Why no laser on eyebrows?
Laser can’t be performed on eyebrows. Because it is very near to the eyes.
How is laser done?
In simple words, a laser beam (light) is emitted on the body part. The skin cells absorb this light and kill. The hair follicles.
Is there any need to cancel the session while having periods?
No, periods are never an issue with the hair removal process. We recommend you use a tampon. As during periods, cells become very sensitive, it may hurt a little. However, there will not be any other Pain and problems.
Is it okay to do exercises after the laser hair removal session?
We suggest you avoid exercising for 48 hours after the session. As the treatment itself goes through excessive heating, your body cells need time to heal themselves and excercising causes sweat which may lead to itching on the treatment area.
During exercises, the body generates heat that causes sweat which may cause itching on the area of treatment. We also recommend you to avoid swimming as chlorine in the water can cause itching on the treated areas.

Yes, it does a bit but it’s bearable.
Are there any precautions need to be taken after the treatment?
- Apply the prescribed cooling gel on the area of treatment to avoid itching or dryness.
- Don’t have direct exposure to the sun without applying sunscreen.
- Wear loose cotton clothes during sleep. Avoid synthetic-based material.
What are the things taken under consideration during hair removal treatment?
The Colour of the hair, the diameter of the hair, the area where the treatment will be done, optimum treatment intervals, optimum fluences regarding energy levels, and other underlying problems will be measured. Some other tests will be done by us on an exceptional basis.
Can we work after treatment?
Yes, you can just follow the post-treatment care process.
Is there any other session after the complete hair removal session?
We respect the need for why you are with us. As you want to have a hair-free life experience, we are happy to offer you that. Even after a complete laser hair removal session however 100% hair removal is never guaranteed you will be needing annual maintenance sessions.

Is the treatment painful?

Does sunbed put any effect on the laser hair removal process?
Yes, the laser hair removal process has several restrictions, and avoiding sunbeds is one of those. While taking a sunbed, the high sunbeams can affect your pores. It can even damage the cells. So, take an 8 weeks gap between sunbed and treatment.
How tanning can ruin your laser hair removal treatment?
Laser hair removal treatment needs smooth skin. That doesn’t mean tanned skin. Tanned skin will close and harden the hair pores. So, it will create problems during the session and ingrown hair within the cells will be the result.
We recommend avoiding tanning, even fake tanning before the session. There must be at least an 8 weeks gap. The same rule goes for after the treatment. Allow your skin to be normal after having the treatment. However, we can assure you to use fake tanning. Make sure, it is done after 1 week of the session.
